About this Blog

Ex Fide in Fidem is a phrase derived from St. Paul’s letter to Romans (1:17) which states: iustitia enim Dei in eo revelatur ex fide in fidem sicut scriptum est iustus autem ex fide vivit (For the justice of God is revealed therein, from faith unto faith, as it is written: The just man liveth by faith), duly personifying my inner aspirations to express my faith–the Catholic Faith–which was handed down to me through God’s infinite grace. Thus, this blog gears itself to none other than an expression of an authentic faith built upon an authentic doctrine which Christ has established upon His Church, the pillar and ground of the Truth.

Articles herein are divided into different categories that all tackle different areas in a Catholic Christian’s life, most importantly those that highlight the significance of the Eucharist, various devotions, the liturgy, apologetics, catechesis, theological insights, spiritual reflections, scripture and prayer. Also, items that delve into sociological & psychological implications of Church teaching may surface every now and then, inasmuch as it has since been imperative for every Catholic Christian to be conscious of his/her moral inclinations inspite of a highly amoral environment. But of course, serious topics also have in-betweeners; and with such, random doses of humour may also be available every now and then.

At the most, I make it a point to post original articles and even images; however, I do incorporate highly-informative entries from other Catholic websites or blogs. This poses not much of a worry, though, for I truly make it a point to give credit to where (and whom) credit is due.

Happy reading to everyone ;)
