Who Is…
… Shirley?
Webmistress of Orange Sunshine and this blog’s author (of course). I am a teacher by profession and a graduate of a Bachelor of Secondary Education course, major in English from the Philippine Normal University-Manila (I belong to batch 2005). At present I do freelance work (websites most of the time) while I take my time off just so to recover from a lingering fatigue problem. However, I still plan to return to being an educator though–this time in the public school, hopefully during the next academic year. I am a revert to the Catholic Church, having been a floundering pseudo-Protestant for years albeit merely Catholic by name as well as a duly baptised member of one of those homegrown Filipino sects.
I like queer things, quaint people, artwork (especially Byzantine iconography), sacred music, theology, liturgy, scripture, languages, literature, concerts, creating websites, poetry, sunflowers, nature, cats, anime, j-pop, j-doramas, koreanovelas, cooking, reading tonnes of books, scouring bookstores for books, coffee, tea, adult alternative & classical music, David Cook and food =)
